Delicious, indulging chocolate cookies - there no other cookie that matches it!

Ingredients
Dough
- 1 cup pecans
- 1 cup flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup soft butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup caramel chips
Ganache
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips
- 3 tbsp butter
Directions
- Chop and roast pecans.
- Mix flour, cocoa, salt and soda.
- In a separate bowl, cream butter.
- Add both sugars and mix until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla, mix.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Mix, but don’t overmix or you’ll get a tough cookie.
- Add 3/4 cup pecans, chocolate and caramel chips. Mix by hand.
- ⏳❄️ Chill the dough for 1 hour in the fridge.
- Pre-heat the oven to 350 F.
- Make balls of dough, put on parchment paper 2 inches apart. Decorate with bits of pecans, chocolate and caramel bits.
- Bake cookies 350 F for 10 - 12 minutes until they puff, expand, and the tops are dry.
- For ganache, microwave (or otherwise heat, can use residual heat from the oven) the ingredients and mix.
- Decorate the cookies with ganache.
- Serve slightly chilled with milk.
