Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp coarse salt
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup butter, room temp
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 lemons
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp milk
- lemon zest (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven 350F.
- Mix flour, salt, baking powder.
- Separately beat butter and add sugar and zest and juice of lemons.
- Add eggs and mix well.
- Mix drys and wets, add milk. Don’t overmix.
- Bake 350F for 1 hr to 1 hr and 10 min, use the loaf pan.
- Mix glaze together and pour on top of the loaf.
