A very easy sponge cake that would be consumed in a matter of seconds.

Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder (no heap)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar (garnish, optional)
Directions
- Pre-heat the oven 350 F. Grease 9x13" pan or alternatively line it with parchment paper.
- Heat whole milk with butter until bubbling and butter is melted, about 5 minutes.
- Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl.
- In another bowl, mix sugar and eggs until fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add flour mix to egg mix, mix on low until just incorporated.
- Still mixing, add hot butter-milk mixture and vanilla extract, stir until combined.
- Pour batter into the baking pan, bake 350 F about 30 minutes until lightly browned on the outside.
- Let cool completely on a rack and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
