Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg, room temp
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 1/2 cup buttermilk, room temp
- 1/4 cup milk, room temp
Directions
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Separately mix buttermilk, milk, egg and butter.
- Mix wets and drys, stir just enough to combine (the batter will be lumpy). Let sit 10 min.
- Heat pan on medium, water drops should sizzle on the pan when it’s ready to go.
- Add a little oil or butter to the pan, then per each pancake put 3 tbsp of batter.
- Fry 2 to 2 1/2 min on one side until edges are dry and bubbles form on top, then 1 to 1 1/2 min on the flip side until golden brown.
